Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Tours NOAA’s National Hurricane Center

Jane Holl Lute, deputy secretary, Department of Homeland Security, made a visit to NOAA’s National Hurricane Center facility in Miami on April 20. Ed Rappaport, deputy director of the National Hurricane Center (pictured), hosted the tour that included the center’s hurricane operations area and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) liaison office within the NHC.
